Mandate

In order to meet our vision, we have undertaken the following mandate, each at its own time and opportune.

1. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
Without proper and constructive education, our youths and the young will lead a very indescribable life devoid of knowledge and the know how of life's fortunes and misfortunes.
Knowledge gives one power over his/her life and the independence to route ones future. Its with this in mind that we have the following projected programmes.

  1. Organize educational classes in guidance, counseling and behavior change in areas of HIV and AIDS, STD's and DRUG and SUBSTANCE ABUSE, to the youths in school and those already out of school.
  2. Organize knowledge based competitions among the youths in various fields to enhance development intellectually, morally, spiritually, as well as physically.
  3. Organize practical courses in small business entrepreneurship e.g. Tailoring, Shoe making, video shooting and editing, music composition and instrumentation, e.t.c.
  4. Organize courses in First aid, scouting, fire fighting, disaster management and life saving basic skills.

2. COMMUNITY SERVICE
The communities that we live in shape us up to be what we become in our lives. The contributions we make, no matter how small or minor they might seem, generally leave behind a very big impact in the long run. Under this mandate we project the following programmes.

  1. Sensitize the public and especially the youths on the importance of protecting and preserving the environment, on the ground.
  2. Join other like minded organizations in the effort of de-warming our planet by planting trees in all our catchment areas and advocating for the preservation and protection of indeginious forests and species.
  3. Visitation to children's homes for cleanups.
  4. Visitation to children's hospital wards for moral boosting and get-well wishes.

3. RECREATION
An active body and mind induces productive and positive thinking in an individual no matter what the age. This has been proven over and over again in the sense that, children and youths who are active, give better results especially in school and catchup very fast in any new adventure or undertaking. Our projected programmes in these category are:

  1. Organize spots and variety shows and other activities, as a way of promoting interaction and social development of our young and the youths.
  2. Hold barazas and open air meetings which will mainly involve the youths and community leaders as a way of promoting cohesion and reconciliation.
  3. Hold workshops, conferences and forums on most of the issues that adversely affect our communities, especially peace inducing strategic initiatives.
  4. Organize town and estate cleanups that shall mostly involve the youths.

4. CIVIC EDUCATION
Carry out civic education to the public, and especially to the youths to impart on them the importance of their participation on matters that regard a positive attitude towards national building and transparent governance and avoid at all cost issues that promote partisan and divisive politics.
